My name is Jaap Wesselius and I’m working as an independant consultant in The Netherlands and I’m focussing on Microsoft business productivity solutions with Microsoft Exchange server, Lync server and Office 365 and related Microsoft online solutions. Besides the normal Enterprise environments I also do a lot of work of hosting companies around the world, a role that has brought me to many places 🙂

Maybe you’ve seen my UC related site (www.jaapwesselius.com) as well, but another thing I think is very attractive is Microsoft Azure. Microsoft Azure is Microsoft’s cloud service, where you’ll find lots of IaaS and PaaS offerings (and Office 365 is Microsoft’s SaaS offering of course, also hosted in Azure datacenters).

After delivering a number of Microsoft Azure training I decided it’s time to start my own blog on Azure. No, I won’t move away from Office 365 and Exchange (any time soon), but just as an interesting addition.
